Its been awhile.....Back to Baking and Blogging!

Wow its been so long since my last post, but alot has happened.    My husband and I made a cross country move from Fort Worth, Texas to Southern Ocean County, New Jersey.    Being originally from New Jersey about 2 1/2 yrs ago my husbands job took us to Texas due to a company relocation.   We really missed everybody in New Jersey and decided to move back.   I will miss the very nice people I have met in Texas and the great food!

Lots of packing and unpacking, I don't know if anyone has experienced a cross country move but it is exhausting!    We are currently renting a house and will be looking for a home sometime in the fall.

My cupcakes and cakes have taken a back seat for awhile due to the craziness of the move, but now its time to get down to business and I will be creating and baking once again.   Starting with apple season.  In about a week I will be going to a local farm and picking some apples and gathering pumpkins with family and friends.  I look forward to bringing home baskets of apples and baking some cakes and pies!    I bring new found inspiration being back home again and look forward to a season full of baking and blogging.

So come back and visit in the next couple of weeks....for treats!

See you soon!

Happy Holiday's Black and White Fudge

My sweet tooth is just not limited to cupcakes and cakes.  My love of sweets go way beyond that!  My portfolio is all about show casing all my favorites whether it be a home baked breakfast muffin or the home made fudge featured in this post.   Our catering menu of sweets will keep expanding, offering a sweet experience for our fellow sweet tooth lovers.

I love fudge and decided to make some homemade fudge for gift giving.     Dark imported chocolate and rich creamy vanilla chocolate with fluffy white coconut, make for a rich creamy fudge.   Wrapped in parchment paper and boxed with ribbon, makes a great hostess, teacher, friend, or anyone that has done a little something special all year through.    More fudge flavors to come in the months ahead.

We wish everyone Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year!

Freshly Baked Fruit Filled Pie Pockets

I love pie and decided to bake a mini version of my obsession with pies by creating our signature Pie Pockets.   Filled with homemade fruit filling and surrounded by a buttery pie crust, baked to a golden brown.   Pie Pockets featured are strawberry and apple filled sprinkled with confectioners sugar.

We will also be introducing more of our new Pie Pocket flavors in the coming months!

Double Dutch Chocolate Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting

I think chocolate makes everything better, especially rich deep dark chocolate flavored cupcakes with the creamiest cream cheese frosting.   Our Double Dutch Chocolate Cupcakes are definitely for the person who loves there chocolate cake rich, moist, light and lot of chocolate flavor.

Apple Caramel Cupcakes with Caramel Buttercreme Frosting

This cupcake is part of my Fall, 2010 flavors.  Light, fluffy,  moist cake topped with a light, fluffy not to sweet buttercreme, with a drizzle of caramel.  Made with homemade caramel and apples it reminds me of a candid apple, in cupcake form.

A sweet and delicious way to celebrate Fall!
